Mold Repair & Revisions

Mold maintenance is absolutely critical to extending the life of a mold. When customers are interested in seeing the greatest return on their investment mold repair is essential. This may require something as simple as refitting a parting line, changing some hardware, or repolishing the mold; or it could be more complex such as stripping off a frame and reframing a mold or repairing the damage done to the mold such as cracks or gouges. In any case, Diversified has over 100 years of combined experience in this area on its shop floor.

Sometimes a customer wants to update an existing part but does not want to make a large investment in a new mold. Mold Revisions are a great way to accomplish this. Whether it is Rotational Molding or Thermoforming, DMC has the expertise in taking out the old and introducing the new. Our ability to revise existing molds has given new life to many of our customers' products. Whether it is casting, fabricating, or CNC cutting; our diversity and capabilities allow us to work with the more difficult changes and in the end supply our customer with new mold quality in a used mold.
